Moving out of homelessness isn’t an event,
It’s a journey
Giving Tuesday is December 3rd
Turn an empty apartment into a home
When individuals and families flee domestic violence, they often leave everything behind—clothes, belongings, essential documents, and any sense of stability. Tragically, many fall into homelessness, facing unimaginable challenges as they work to rebuild their lives.

At Wings Advocacy, we step in after survivors secure safe housing to provide the essential support they need to not just survive but thrive. This Giving Tuesday, your generosity can help survivors of interpersonal violence turn an empty apartment into a home and open the doors to a brighter future.
Why Give Now?

-
1 in 3 households served by Wings each year includes survivors of domestic violence. These individuals and families face significant hurdles as they rebuild their lives, whether they are actively fleeing an abusive situation or working to move on years later.
-
Survivors often lack the basic essentials needed to stabilize and succeed in their new homes. This includes household supplies, bedding, and even the vital documents required for employment, housing, and school enrollment.
-
Your dollars stay local with a grassroots, volunteer-powered organization
-
Our $4,000 match is only good until December 4th at 12:01 am!
The basic essentials in our baskets make all the difference, creating a foundation from which families can heal, regain hope, and move forward.
Join us in this mission to support those who have been impacted by interpersonal violence. Your generosity can help give these families the stability they need to rebuild their lives and thrive.
Join us in investing in the future of our community.

Let’s make a difference together!
Please note: the families pictured here are real families that Wings has helped, but are in no way associated with interpersonal violence - we just wanted you to see the smiling faces of the amazing families we've been fortunate enough to help.
A Gift That Keeps Giving

"I just want to sincerely thank you for the welcome basket, beds, and bedding. After having to flee a domestic violence situation and experiencing homelessness, my children and I have a safe place to call home and now real beds to sleep in! The first morning after waking in our new beds, my 4-year-old rose from the bed so happy and said, “Mommy! I had no bad dreams last night, only good ones!”. I attribute that to a restful night's sleep in such a comfortable bed. We have all been sleeping more soundly now that we are off the floor. One day I hope to be able to give back to your organization. It has made a profound difference in our lives. What a true blessing! With overwhelming gratitude, Jennifer"
