12 DAYS OF WINGS
For 10 years, Wings has been walking alongside our neighbors as they move out of homelessness and into housing — helping turn empty spaces into real homes and barriers into opportunities.

Wings is 100% funded by donations. Every basket delivered, every document secured, and every volunteer visit is made possible by people like you. As we approach the end of the year, we’re hoping to raise the support needed to serve even more newly housed neighbors in 2026.

The 12 Days of Wings is a celebration of dignity, community, and fresh starts. Each gift helps meet a real, immediate need — and together, they build a stronger, more compassionate Santa Cruz County.

Thank you for helping us say “yes” to our neighbors — today and into the year ahead.
Our Initiatives

Vital Docs at the Library
Our Vital Documents Program helps people obtain birth certificates and IDs — the documents required to access housing, employment, healthcare, education, and benefits. One piece of paper can be the key to stability.

Welcome Home Program
Our Welcome Home program provides newly housed individuals and families with essential household items — beds, bedding, kitchen supplies, cleaning tools, and hygiene items — so no one has to sleep on the floor or start over with nothing.

Vital Docs at the County Jail
As an extension of our Vital Docs program, Wings has partnered with the Santa Cruz County Jail to help individuals obtain vital documents before they are released.
By assisting with birth certificates and ID applications while people are still incarcerated, we help reduce barriers to reentry and increase the chances of a stable transition back into the community.
